Just read where in Japan, houses are not considered an equity. After 38 years most (68%) are torn down and rebuilt! There are more builders and contractors in Japan than America....yet there is virtually no home improvement! You would think with all that demolition and rebuilding going on their economy would be boomig...but just the opposite is true. I can easily understand this. Take a typical home built with all the latest and greatest kitchens, living room, electronic g...adgets, latest innovations , do zero home improvement or change any aspect of the house for 30 years and you will not have one person willing to undertake that renovation unless the price of the house is peanuts. Simply think of the "Harvest Gold" wall to wall shag carpeting and the avocado kitchens of the '80's . Would you want to live there? Home improvement is the key. You have the same lumber, the same plaster, the nails are all the same and the outside could (in most cases) pass for current construction, but it's the inside that's sellable to a buyer. I have seen homes for sale that are in beautiful neighborhoods, have been lovingly kept, are spotless with no hint of deterioration, passed by again and again by home buyers because of a "Power Blue" master bathroom or kitchen appliances that are "out of date". Let's hear it for The Home Depot!!

A Florida lawyer, whose suit caught fire in court when E-cig batteries in his pocket overheated. He was defending someone accused of arson. Oh Really!! Lawyer Lawyer pants on fire

Being deeply entrenched in Real Estate for several years I needed to take a break from the daily routine. I decided to do something I really enjoy, which is horseback riding. It's been many years since I've sat on a horse but I hoped it would be like riding a bicycle....it isn't. Everything started out fine with the horse doing a nice slow movement, but then it picked up more and more speed till it was going as fast as it can....and I fell off! What was worse is that my f...oot became entangled in the stirrup and now I'm partly on the ground with one foot in the air and the horse continues to run! I'm just lucky the manager of the store came out and unplugged the stupid machine before any real damage was done....to the horse. Warning...stay away from the "Bronco Bobby" ride

Living here in South Georgia has altered the way I believe about the winter. When I was in New Hampshire, working in radio after my stint in the Army, Winter was a cold, bleak, depressing slog for up to nine months of the year, where you only yearned for the warmer temperatures as you threw another piece of wood on the fire hoping the pipes didn't freeze and the car would "turn-over" in the morning. Here in South Georgia in Winter you "may" have temperatures dip into the 20's (where everyone freaks out, schools close) ...but then it warms back to to the 70's and even 80's (even in January) with beautiful days full of sun and cloudless skies. Folks who were born in this part of the country will insist "they" love the cooler temperatures..........to which I say , "your gonna "love New Hampshire"

Contrary to popular belief, the "buck" does NOT stop here. It makes a fast entrance, shakes your hand then leaves quickly. Any "buck that chooses to stay will become lost or wander out the door of its own accord.
