Tree selling has about come to an end for this year, but the work continues. Chandler Tillman on the auger and Caden Wilson on the shovel are planting 700 Murray Cypress for future seasons. Thanks to all our friends for a great Christmas tree season, and Merry Christmas everyone.

It’s sure been a much different 2020 than we ever imagined. We should have known it was going to be a tough year when our main mower burned to the ground on New Years Day. We had to cancel our truck show and Inman Farm Heritage Days, which was scheduled for this week. There’s always a bright side, and for us it’s that we have our Christmas trees looking good, and the sunflowers are still blooming strong. Be safe everyone and we hope to see you soon. The Minters.

We had to cancel Inman Farm Heritage Days for this year due to the coronavirus (The announcement is on the Inman Farm Heritage Days page.), but we didn’t want the news from us to be all bad. We have some beautiful sunflowers blooming right now and it is truly the perfect opportunity for photographers to come out! The farm will be opening up for photographers beginning next week (July 13). First up will be our sunflower field on McBride Road, about two miles north of the farm.... We have three plantings growing already and a fourth that will go in the ground next week, so they should last for on through September. We also have two corn patches and a planting of buckwheat. (Pricing in comments) Our Christmas tree sessions are already booking up quickly, so don't miss out on reserving your spot. Out of an abundance of caution due to COVID-19, we are going to cancel the antique truck and car show for this year that was scheduled for Father's Day weekend.... What we are planning to do instead is set aside a special area for antique cars and trucks during Inman Farm Heritage Days (Sept. 18-20). We have spent this week both fertilizing (in hopes to push up the smaller trees so we can prune them in the next couple of months) and basal pruning the younger trees to give them trunks so they'll fit in your stands. This is a before and after picture of one of the Carolina Sapphires.
