I recently typed Christmas Cake in my trusty Google search bar just to see what would pop up. There were pages and pages of choices. Of course, most of them included candied fruit baked into a thick batter i.e. the classic fruitcake. I even found a cheesecake recipe with red and green candied cherries as the filling.
