Spending more time in the kitchen? Here’s a quick tip to help you #saveenergy
What do you put on your favorite sandwich?
9 a.m. Update Approximately 2,000 meters without power as of 9 a.m. Before heading to a job, crews do meet briefly to ensure they have all materials and assess ...the information about the outages our dispatch team has already provided so they can determine the best plan of action and highlight any safety concerns. Not all outages are due to broken poles. They can also be caused by downed lines, broken cross arms, etc. Each pole changeout is different depending on what utilities and equipment are on each pole (i.e. power lines, fiber lines, phone lines, transformers, etc.) Often with a storm like this it can take hours to clear trees and branches so that crews can get to the broken pole and set a new one. Living in the mountains, the terrain can limit the ability to drive a truck to the site and poles will have to be climbed, rather than using a bucket truck.
We stand strong for those who are still fighting and in remembrance of those we have lost. While focusing on member needs, Mitchell EMC is committed to supporting Breast Cancer Awareness in our Communities.
