Scored these two children’s books for the little free library today. The children shelf is still extremely low on children’s books.

The grownup shelf is thriving! The kids shelf isn’t doing so hot. If anyone has any used children’s books please feel free to donate.

My good friend Madison Dunn made this post earlier. Not to my surprise, many books that were taught to us throughout our years are being banned. Some of these n...ovels have impacted the current narrative of our country greatly. I recommend reading (if you have not read them already) 1984 by George Orwell, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, and The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. You are encouraged to read any other title that piques your interest and keep these books available to future generations. Once you have read these books, take the time to reflect on their messages and contents. Madison’s post: A display of Banned Books in a Barnes & Noble. I have read 13 of the books on this table and was taught a good number of them in high school... Top row: The Hunger Games Animal Farm The Great Gatsby Speak The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks Catcher in the Rye The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn 2nd row: Thirteen Reasons Why The Handmaid’s Tale 1984 The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian The Glass Castle The Perks of Being a Wallflower Harry Potter 3rd row: Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl All The Bright Places Looking For Alaska The Hate U Give Brave New World The Kite Runner Lord of the Flies Bottom row: Fahrenheit 451 Drama A Light in the Attic The Outsiders The Lorax

Hey all it’s been a while due to these crazy times So I thought I’d check in and update. As you know our library has two shelves. The top is for adult books and the bottom shelf is for the kiddos. Not that I’m complaining at all and this is very rare but we have 75% of the library now filled with books for grown-ups. I like to have an equal amount for the kiddos too. If you have any donations or trade outs it Would be greatly appreciated.
