IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION!! The Monroe County Board of Commissioners meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1 has been cancelled. The Board of Commissioners will next meet at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15.

New Eternal Flame on the Monroe County Courthouse square.

The new eternal flame located next to the war memorial on the grounds of the Monroe County Courthouse. The flame will intentionally be extinguished on Friday at noon, and a relighting ceremony will be held on Memorial Day.
