Remember that we're collecting books (used or new) for the Jackson Diagnostic Prison. You can bring them to the collection area in the fellowship hall through the end of May. **Note that books must be paperback or softcover.** There is a particular need for books about trades and skills (e.g., carpentry or automotive) or notable African-Americans.... "I was in prison and you visited me." - Matthew 25:36

2021 Graduates will be recognized this Sunday, May 23rd. Please join us for a Graduate Brunch, which will be held at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Our speaker will be Peyton Proctor, a former principal and teacher of many of our graduates and a celebrated potter and cowboy. Reservations are not mandatory, but a call to the church office will help us plan for the number of biscuits and breakfast pastries to order. Everyone is welcome!

This Sunday, May 23 we will receive the Pentecost offering, a denomination-wide offering to encourage, develop, and support our young people. We retain 40% of this offering for local at-risk youth. This year our church's portion of the Pentecost offering will benefit the Get Ahead House in Monticello, which provides children a safe haven, nutritious snacks, and a place to do their homework. Thank you for your generous gift!

The youth had a fantastic time at Six Flags on Saturday. On Sunday we had our last youth group meeting for the school year! 2020-2021 is a wrap! The youth would like to thank everyone who has supported and helped throughout the year. And a special thanks to the chaperones on all of our outings.
