Let’s change this country! Black lives matter. Period. If you can come, protest! If not, donate. But let’s keep this momentum going. Thank you to all the black and non-white comedians who came to perform at moonlight. We are a comedy club in a yoga studio (which is a very white sentence). We are so deeply grateful to you and all you’ve given to the Athens comedy community. ... And to all those white people out there who aren’t speaking up or who are indecisive, wake up...you are part of the problem. It’s vulnerable to start action. And you will make mistakes. But if you aren’t failing, then you aren’t growing. And if you aren’t actively trying to build bridges between yourself and the non-white community, then you don’t stand for equality. Do your homework. Make an effort. Stay safe everyone. Love those around you and make em laugh. That’s a gift that can save the world.
