Wonderful pre-Thanksgiving Day here with family and friends.

I think that I shall never see A poem lovely as a tree... This tree is special. At an early age, it saw me fish with my PaPa.... But mostly it was a centerpiece for Troop 100 on camp outs, birthday parties, family gatherings and shade from the sun. A place we cleaned fish and picnicked. Lightening struck it several years ago and it is time to take her down I know it’s crazy posting about taking down a tree, but I do know many friends will understand why I’m sad. I will miss this great White Oak. See more
