Busy day for Morris Legal and Tax LLC. Spent all morning sorting the school supplies and bookbags we purchased (big thanks to those at Capstone Financial who also donated some bookbags). Delivered them to Foreverfamilies, to distribute school supplies to Atlanta children whose parents are incarcerated. Spent the evening winning our third straight championship in the Atlanta Bar league and celebrating.

Nice change of scenery yesterday, visiting with one of my favorite clients at his granite quarry. Devised a plan to save oodles of taxes and didn't even have to wear a suit!

We will likely be hiring an administrative assistant towards the end of 2018 to help us stay organized, if you know of someone who may be interested. Customer service skills are the top priority, followed by organizational skills, and thirdly an overall positive attitude.

No matter how many times you tell a client to keep their mouth shut and let me do the talking, sometimes they just can't help themselves. Sitting in an IRS audit this morning and the agent is a big-time Falcons fan. She and I are talking football and the audit is going very smoothly, we resolve the first 3 years in my clients favor. Then my client says "it's funny, I'm actually a big Patriots fan." I wish someone had taken a picture of the look on my face. Needless to say, the last 3 years didn't go so smoothly and he's paying for that Super Bowl.
