Beautifully said Melody Barrs Richardson One of the sweetest places (for me) on this earth is at the @mossycreekcampmeetimg site in Clermont, GA. Some of the sweetest folks I have come to love this side of heaven. Amazing cooks and yummy home style dinners, never a shortage of homemade ice cream, life long friends, sweet fellowship, preaching, kids playing with no fear, playing till late at night with flashlights playing hide and seek, long time friends gathering after the ni...ghtly meeting playing card game tournaments, laughing, sharing old memories, and the most beautiful, peaceful place I love. The Arbor pictured here is simple yet so sweet. No thanks to Covid, we were not able to meet this year. First time in over 137 years. Quite a history in this land. What is your heritage? What do you hold dear? If down here you have that little piece of heaven, can you only imagine how much more beautiful heaven will be? The loved ones already there. Praising the Savior. This morning the Tent Holders of Mossy Creek Campground Voted to cancel Campmeeting 2020. We are at lease with this decision as we feel it is the Lord’s will, not ours. We are willing to sacrifice our person desires and feelings we allhave about attending ...Campmeeting for the greater good of the Campground, the Community and our Families. It is a sad day for the Mossy Creek Campground. If you feel led to make a contribution or tithe to the Campground to support the upkeep of the grounds in the off year, please mail those to P.O. Reminder that this Saturday, July 11th, at 10am we will have a tent-holders meeting. We would ask that at least one person from each tent is represented. Also, if you could take the week to talk to the family members in your tent and have an estimate of how many are planning to attend from your tent if Campmeeting moves forward. At this point we are planning to move forward. Having an estimate will allow us to plan accordingly to prepare in the safest way possible. We will al...so discuss objection to moving on with Campmeeting, weigh out the pros and cons and make a final decision via a tent-holders vote on which way to move in the upcoming weeks. Mossy Creek Campmeeting 2020 July 26th-August 2nd Hebrews 12:1 Surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses ... Please pray for camp meeting 2020 as we seek direction and plan for this years meeting. We look forward to the opportunity to gather under this arbor and worship the King of Kings together this year.
