Mothering Tea 27.05.2021

As an educator, I learned the importance of processes and procedures. Systems were a must. That is one thing that I brought with me when starting MT. When I stick to my plan things go so much smoother. ... It's funny how the same thing holds true on the motherhood journey. Create a plan. Implement. Make adjustments as needed. Understand that some days will shine brighter than others. Just don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. One day of missteps doesn't equal a failed startup nor does it equal bad mothering. Keep striving, girlfriend.

It's morning somewhere, right? Today's midday break is fueled by a Midnight Chocolate Latte. Prepare tea ... Sweeten to your liking Add a splash of milk (warm if you desire) Enjoy Motherhood brings a lot of busy moments and forgotten warm tea. No worries. Add some iced and drizzle a little chocolate syrup on top and make it an iced tea latte. Just don't pour it out. Happy Monday, Tea Friends!!!

When I stepped on planet motherhood, I was excited, nervous, anxious, overwhelmed, dedicated, driven, joyful, full of ALL questions, and so much more. I just knew I was about to rock it, okay!! And did so while feeling all the things!... But the unspoken side of mothering is taking care of and listening to you. That is the part that I didn't know how to do. Take care of me. Like, how do you really support and advocate for yourself? For me, that includes trusting and listening to oneself followed by taking action. For example, you realize you are more snappy with others. Thank yourself for realizing you may have reacted in a way that says you need a break, take a deep breath, and take a 5 minute pause. That is supporting you. What ways do you support you?
