Move with Joy

Hey, loves. Classes are still cancelled due to the pandemic, and this page has a very small reach, but I still feel it's important to make it very clear that I stand against racism, support the Black Lives Matter movement, and wholeheartedly affirm the protests happening across our nation. Vocal support matters, but direct action steps are vital for making change. I've been using this document (link below) which is thorough and updated regularly. Please speak out, make donations, sign petitions, send emails, make phone calls. Find your voice and use your strengths. I hope you are as good as you can possibly be under pandemic circumstances - taking excellent care of yourselves, finding pathways for joy, and allowing all your emotions as they rise and fall. I have no idea when it will be the right time for our classes to resume. I do know it’s not time yet. I really appreciate and connect with these words from Octavia Raheem, co-owner of Sa...cred West Chill Yoga and Meditation Studio in Atlanta: We will open when there is scientific proof and data that supports that the pandemic is clearly in decline. We will open when there is a clear plan for testing throughout the state and nation. We will reopen when we know that we will not be putting the most vulnerable and marginalized within our community at further risk.
