On my birthday today, I honor God who graced me with the blessing to be the pastor of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church! I love my Church family, near and far!

Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Hosts Conference Call Church Service on 3.22.2020 with Pastor Sharon Breeden and the Mt. Moriah Church Family Good evening Saints, Friends and Visitors, Pastors are faced with hard decisions, as we realize that nothing is too hard for God. As saints also know that the hand of God is moving over this whole earth right now, this very moment and we are walking out a time in history that God has not allowed us to experience before. ... Know this: Our God is well able to keep us, no matter what comes upon us. Even this moment, we are still kept while we watch so many others die all around the world. As leaders who makes decisions according to the leading of the Holy Ghost, I must consider the entire flock; those who are seasoned saints as well as our new born babes in Christ. I must also consider the elderly as well as the little babies. I must do what is best for our church family. Mt. Moriah's worship service IS NOT CANCELLED. (During this time, the temporary law of the land asks us to remain at least 6 feet apart and gather in groups of no more than 10 people). The reasoning is that they are attempting to stop the spreading of COVID-19. SO, instead of meeting at the church building, we will meet on our conference call line at 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning where I will still share the word from the Lord. Using our village. During the first week of school cancellation Mt. Moriah held educational enrichment sessions for our youth. On our last session, attendees received grade level work packets as well as list of numerous online resources available to them to continue learning while practicing social distance.
