FIRST TIME OFFERED Intensive Hand Building Course Tuesdays 9:00 am to 11:30 am August 10 through September 14... This is a 6 week course exploring various hand building techniques including pinching, coiling, and using slabs. We will also experiment with ancient pottery building techniques using clay from Middle Georgia. Cost of the class is $225. This includes clay, glaze, use of all equipment, and firing in the kiln. No prior experience with clay is required but you must be at least 18 years old. Space is limited. To reserve a place in the class you must pay in advance. Want to try the pottery wheel but don’t want to commit to a full course of five or six lessons? Come give it a try in a one time, two hour session scheduled at a time convenient for you. You can even bring one or two of your friends. Cost of a two hour clay experience is $40 per person. The cost covers clay, glaze and everything you need to get a full pottery wheel experience.
