Someone might be experiencing human trafficking if: They don’t have freedom to come and go whenever they want They have a pimp or a manager if they work in the commercial sex industry They work unreasonably long and strange hours... They are fearful, anxious, depressed, or submissive They are strangely fearful of law enforcement They avoid having eye contact with others They have untreated STDs They are malnourished They have physical signs of abuse, restraint, or confinement They have little personal possessions They do not have their own money or bank accounts They do not have access to their own IDs or passports They do not speak for themselves They are unable to state where he or she is staying They are unaware of the time, date, or their whereabouts These are just a few of the many signs that one may exhibit if they are a victim of sex trafficking.
