The movie "Six Pack" starring Kenny Rogers was filmed in downtown Buford, Georgia and Settles Bridge in Suwanee, Georgia. The movie was released July 16, 1982 and grossed over $20 million during it's theatrical run. Mr. Kenny Rogers, you will be missed. The amazing icon passed away tonight, March 20, 2020 at 10:25 PM. His music and spirit will live on in our hearts.

With great sympathy and sadness, The Museum of Buford shares the news that Buford lost one of their many treasures today. Judge Handsel G. Morgan went to be with the Lord earlier today. Please keep Hank, Tim and Ann along with his entire family in your prayers.
