We had wonderful time at the Coastal Conservation Association Tuesday evening. Savannah Dental holds a double platinum sponsorship with the CCA! Happy *belated* #NationalDogDay! We were too excited and celebrating Bethany’s birthday yesterday, we forgot to post Lexi! Miss Lexi is our therapy support dog at Savannah Dental and is at the office every day Dr. Sweeney is in. She loves sitting at the front desk and keeping us on our toes! ... Lexi offers snuggles for our patients that may be a little anxious for their visit with us. Amy is a Savannah native that graduated from Calvary Day School in 1986. She then went on to earn her dental hygiene degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University and entered the dental field in 1990. ... Amy has worked in general dentistry as well as in periodontics. Each year, Amy attends numerous dental training, educational and safety courses. She has certifications from the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers, including CPR and AED Certification. Amy continues to enjoy her career as a dental hygienist. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is being a part of a team that transforms a patient's mouth to a state of health and helps teach them to maintain it for a lifetime. Amy raised her 3 daughters in the low country and enjoys spending time on the water. She enjoys fishing, crabbing, shrimping and of course...cooking.
