Day 2 of the DC Fly-In was a full day of gauging needs and leveraging security expertise. CISOs reviewed the top priorities of our legislative agenda, the finer points of national data breach legislation. We also gained some insights into cybersecurity policy outlook before taking a trip to Capitol Hill for policy briefings with Senators. We met with Elon Kitchen, national security advisor to Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE), with Brooke Ericson, chief of staff for Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) of the Homeland Security and Government Affairs committee, and with staffers for the Cybersecurity Caucus, Rosie Heiss (Senator Mark Warner D-WA) & Sam Love (Senator Cory Gardner, R-CO).
