Just received notice that our international patents have been published, Nclear IP, LLC nanocrystal technology should soon be covered in 47 different countries. I am so excited. I conceived the idea of developing Nclear while on a trip to south Florida while meeting with executives from a very large farm who was concerned that the government (EPA and FDEP) may impose phosphate discharge limits that could have made farming in that area cost prohibitive. I began doing extensive... research to see if there was a technology that would safely and economically remove phosphates. My initial and extensive research included published research and white papers around the globe from many PhD's, dissertations universities and digital chemical text books pertaining to chemical reactions and bonding. I put together a strategy to potentially attempt the creation of a new chemistry compound (basically creating a new mineral) that would attract and bind soluble phosphates out of water using all chemically safe and readily available chemicals. I even researched publications of healthy lake sediments and the chemical elements that existed. After months of compiled research I knew I needed help from someone with an extensive chemical background and started looking for someone that could help me create my vision. After discussions with several chemical engineers and having them tell me my idea was impossible, I was introduced to an environmental chemical engineer (Denny Ivey my co-inventor) who became very excited about the concept and the chemical development began. I wanted to share this with you as an inspiration that just because some very smart people may tell you you cannot do something, if your heart tells you otherwise, keep pursuing your dream. It did however take us 3 years to completely develop Nclear nanocrystal technology and to work out the details to mass produce nanocrystals (was not a piece of cake). Extensive trial and error experiments with a little bit of luck as well and a nanocrystal is born. Now getting our dream funded for full commercialization is another topic! Exciting News! we just opened our new Research and Production facility at the Burson Center in Carrollton, GA. This location is strategically located close to o...ur environmental chemical lab and only 30 minutes to Atlanta.We are now acquiring crystal reaction chambers and ultra high temperature ovens needed to manufacture our new nanocrystal technology. We are very excited and expect to produce our first batch of nanocrystals in January. See more
