This is a personal invitation to join us at NBCBC for our Sunday morning worship @10:30 AM God loves you and so do we

Ms. Joyce will be missed dearly, she was a charter member of New Beginnings Community Baptist Church, and our oldest church member. She loved our church, and we loved her. She also was a very committed Christian lady that loved the Lord. NBCBC wasn’t just her church, but part of her family. Ms. Joyce always dressed very nicely, and had the nickname Miss America ! She considered Pastor Wayne and I as her other children and we considered her as our other mama. After church on Sunday, her, Katina Jordan her daughter and Ms. Geneva always had lunch together. Until we meet again Ms. Joyce we will always miss and love you

Memorial Day is a special occasion to remember the men and women who served this country in the military. We remember the sacrifices they made, leaving their homes and families behind, to put their lives online. Some of those heroes were wounded. Some of them died. For all of them, we lift up our flags and we wave them in salute, thanking them for their service.

The prophet Jeremiah said, Your word is like a fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary of holding it in. Do you know how God gets the light that’s in you out... into the world? He puts you around people and in situations where they try to extinguish the light that’s in you. But if you’ve been stoking the fire in your heart thru time alone with God, you won’t have to try to shine - it will happen as the natural outflow of your heart.
