Newborns In Need

So excited to have the Georgia FCA Lacrosse Girls Team collecting sleepers for us! I had the pleasure of meeting them and telling them all about Newborns in Need. They have already collected over 45 sleepers! What for more news on our total numbers!

It’s January already and that means it’s time for our Annual Retreat! If you love to sew, knit, crochet, or just help babies in need come join us on January 25th through the 27th in Helen Georgia. We will be meeting at the conference room at the Helendorf Inn, 33 Munich Strasse, Helen, GA 30545. Call them now and make your reservations for the weekend, 706-878-2271. Thank you to all who donated toward our Sleepers In September Drive. We collected 305 sleepers!

Our Newborns in Need national organization is collecting items to help those who were affected by Hurricane Florence. We are collecting receiving blankets, diapers, wipes, onesies, sleepers, socks/booties, pacifiers, formula and bottles. SLEEPERS IN SEPTEMBER! Every September all Newborns In Need chapters around the country hold our annual "Sleepers In September" drive. Last year we collected ...over 100 sleepers and we hope to break that number this year. We are asking for your help. Simply purchase a sleeper or sleep sac locally and drop it off at our monthly meeting or give me a call to pick it up. If you prefer to shop online, or don't live in the Georgia area, we have a Baby Registry set up on Amazon. Just go to Amazon.com, search "Newborns In Need" Cumming, GA under Baby Registries. From there you can pick any of the items on the registry or any other sleeper or sleep sac that you like. At checkout choose our address and it will be shipped directly to the Sugar Hill GA chapter! We also will accept any monetary donations that will be used to purchase sleepers. We will be collecting the sleepers for this drive until October 31st. During this trying time in our country our monthly meeting scheduled for this Saturday, April 18th, has been cancelled. But we are all at home working on items for our group and making masks for the hospitals who need them. Stay safe and be well.

National Hat Day - January 15th

Great day today at our Monthly Newborns in Need meeting. We've collected 227 sleepers so far and more are coming for our Sleepers In September drive! We have until October 31st for our final count.
