Youth led service was last Sunday with the youth Pastor Kristin Pierce preaching her first message. The teens led worship, greeted, worked the camera, and danced for the Lord. New Life is proud of our teens, their leaders, and parents! If you missed the service click the link below https://youtu.be/bBG2nkCYF0c

We pause today and remember all those who gave it all for our country. And we mourn with those who lost a loved one for our country. We grieve with you. We gather and celebrate our freedoms in honor of those who can't celebrate with us today. The cost of this remembrance day was high. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.... Matthew 5:9 NIV #WordsinRed See more

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. James 1:19-20 NIV Pastor John told us Sunday "We don't know what we think we know..." ... We've got two ears to listen with and one mouth to speak with. It seems the Lord wants us to listen twice as much as we speak. We don't always have to have the last word, share our opinion (especially if it's judgemental and hurtful), or respond when our emotions are frazzled. Today, let's slow down, listen, offer grace, and the benefit of the doubt. Because, like our Pastor said, "We don't know what we think we know..." about people, their life, their struggles. Just BE K I N D always.
