Happy birthday to our 14u head coach!!! She was a stud player and is a stud coach she embodies NEXTLVL and has truly taken the curriculum and learned it inside and out! A great mentor and teacher to our young ladies in the program!

Baseball & Softball Parents!!! This is another example of staying the course, embracing the process & going about it the RIGHT way. I have witnessed this at very young ages to kids in high school / college all the way to the professional ranks. The question is are you willing to let them go through the trials without providing excuses or would you rather continue setting your child up for success. You can choose to save some pain & skip the process. But you can never choose ...the eventual consequences or repercussions. They can get it now... or they will get it later... but even if it’s too late for them personally, one day they will get it. PLAYERS: It has to become YOUR process no one else's. Dad, Mom & no one else can want it worse then you!! You want a glimpse of the "Process"? Please Read then WatchThis story is for ALL PLAYERS & FAMILIES in & outside NEXTLVL NATION Kyle Farmer has been in the "process" for a long time. The #'s, his age, the depth chart, even his primary position was against him. After spring training he was sent to AA yet again!! But Kyle went about his routine, head down, working hard, setting an example by being the first to arrive and the last to leave while never giving up!! It's not about the team you play for, about the position you were asked to play, where you are on the depth chart, the coaches eyes, etc. Give me a parent that will stack the cards against their children and ask them to dig deep vs the parents that tries to set their kids up for success. Heck, give me the players that want the deck stacked against them and still ask for more! This is when you will find yourself... through your willingness to go the extra mile, do a little more then anyone else & sacrifice when no else will. Practice is for your team to get better, what you do when your not at practice is EVERYTHING!! Ownership is the first step to making the adjustment on your path to SUCCESS!!! It's not about when the cards are in your favor... it's about when they are NOT!!! NEXTLVL SUNDAY CHAPEL EYE BLACK READY ... The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free. -- Luke 4:18 SET As a softball player, there was no feeling like putting on eye black before a big game. When I smeared it on my face, I was focused on winning the game. I felt invincible--like I could do anything on the field. All nerves, problems and distractions went away. I was ready to be the superstar I knew I could be. As athletes, when we are focused and playing our best, everything comes to us naturally. We go with the flow and step up and shine. But what about when we step off the field? Are we really focused when it comes to the rest of our lives? As Christians, God has given us our own eye black. The Bible says that we are anointed. The original meaning of this word is smeared. When God would anoint someone in the Bible, leaders would smear oil all over their face. This oil represented the Holy Spirit. This represented the power of God to bring health and healing. The Bible reminds us that we have the same Holy Spirit in us that was in Jesus to enable us to pursue living our entire life focused on Him and His mission. GO How does your life look like off the field? Do you feel like you are focused on God when it comes to your personal life? What does it mean to be anointed by Jesus? How can you pursue a godly life outside of sports? WORKOUT 1 Samuel 16:13; 2 Corinthians 1:21-22; James 5:14 OVERTIME Lord, thank You for anointing me to do Your work on and off the field. Help me to find ways to stay focused on You as I practice my calling outside of sports.

Men and/or women glorify man. Especially in the actors, actresses, the professional sports world, men, or women, glorify them for what they are worth monetarily... more than what they can do. Men and women may glorify God, that is, give Him the worship and reverence which are His due. However, I am still amazed at what an actor, actress, or professional player is worth and the reverence they get because of what they get paid. Here we are as a nation full of non-believers in Jesus Christ. We are to worship HIM for what HE HAS DONE. Right now, today, Jesus paid the highest price, that has caused us to be priceless in HIS name! That deserves worship. We need to show the unbeliever how we worship our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. (Ps.72:18-20) Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. Blessed be His glorious name forever; May the whole earth be filled with His glory! Amen and Amen! (ESV)
