We are so incredibly proud of the research Nicole Cortes and her teacher, Jennifer Coleman, from Luella High School of Henry County (Henry County Board of Education) have conducted as part of the National History Day Sacrifice for Freedom: World War II in the Pacific program. Our 2021 National Qualifiers Workshop convened April 26th through May 3rd. 27 sessions occurred in which mentors (LaGrange College history faculty and Georgia Humanities staff) reviewed and discussed the work of students headed to the National History Day National Contest.
