Nichols Campground

We want to take a moment and wish ALL OF OUR CAMPGROUND FAMILY A VERY MERRY CHRISTmas AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR much love from : Jud, Christy, Logan, Emily , Hailey and Rowan Nichols

As this season comes to a close we wanted to take a moment and thank each one of our campground family for another beautiful year shared with each one of you . Memories were made many many meals shared and even more love given . We will MISS each one of you over the winter season but now it’s time to celebrate all the cold weather holidays, like gathering to give Thanks with family and friends over Thanksgiving and Celebrating our Lord and savior at CHRISTmas time then welc...oming (fingers crossed ) A BLESSED HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR , then not so long after that welcoming old friends back for new memories shared around campfires and tables !! We pray y’all have a happy safe winter and look forward to seeing y’all come spring . Sadly the end of camping season is right around the corner. We have always had a cookout at the end of the year with our campground family and daddy has always cooked chicken. We wanted to get everyone’s opinion on if we should or should not have a cookout this year . I do know ( as much as Jud doesn’t want to admit it he is getting older ) we are not going to allow the old man cooking all the chicken this time . I myself would enjoy a covered dish and just fellowship...ping with our extended family . Please don’t feel as though we have to we understand that everyone has so much going on in their own lives . We apologize for any unanswered messages sadly our extended family my sister-in-law and her family have been struck by some heartbreaking news we only ask to please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers !! We know that God is in total control and HE is the only one to give comfort and peace . Please keep my sweet sister-in-law Emily Nichols , her precious mom Mrs. Teresa Church Helf her dad Mr. John her sister Melissa Harlacher and of course her son in laws and sweet gr...and babies and the rest of her family in your thoughts and prayers. What I am sharing my sister-in-law Emily posted earlier I love y’all !! From Emily Things aren’t looking so good for my mom. Sometimes God’s will doesn’t make sense to us, and we question why He does what He does. However hard it may be, I have faith and trust that His plan is what is best, and I know He has us in the palm of His hand. If you can all pray for strength, peace, and comfort for my mom and our family, it would mean the world to us

Just wonder would it be easier on folks to post maybe on this post what they would like to bring for the covered dish for mama’s celebration of life ? Others have suggested this maybe a good ideal . Please know that we COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT AND OR UNABLE TO BRING ANYTHING. We absolutely love everyone just the same . I apologize for such late notice but to our campground family and our family we will be having a celebration of mama’s life the last sat of this month I believe it’s the 29th of May around 5 o’clock pm in the campground . We are having a covered dish, we do understand some will not be able to make it and that is completely ok we just felt as though mama really never had a proper fair well because of Covid . Last year we were bless to be able to share with a few of our family ...but felt as though so many really never had the chance for a finalization to mama departing this world and going home to be with Our Heavenly Father . Aunt Jo Davis Johnson would you mind tagging or letting our family your way know about this . We completely understand if folks can’t make it but we did want mama’s family to have opportunity to feel some closer . Love you See more

HELLO SPRING ... I am super excited to let everyone know that we will be opening back up the weekend of March 19th the water will be on and we are ready to see our extended family once again !!! Cant wait to see y’all here !! Jud , Christy , Hailey , Logan , Emily and Rowan

For our campground family we are getting a little snow today I’m unsure of what they are calling for however I do know it’s cold outside . If it amounts to anything I’ll take pictures and post them . Miss you all and can’t wait for spring
