Well, it is onion time again and Mr. Redmond has been shifting some of his orders to Peyton Turner in the firm. Mr. Redmond and Peyton have tried to get to everyone this year, but if we missed you, or if you would just like to buy some very tasty onions, please call Nicole (706-327-4551) at our office and place your order. 10lb bags for $10.00 and 25 lb bags for $22.00. Orders due no later than noon on Wednesday May 7th and onions are delivered the next week. Proceeds to the Greater Columbus Kiwanis Club to benefit local children's charities. Checks can be made out to Kiwanis.

In order to protect our clients and staff during the current health crisis, we are temporarily making the following changes to our normal real estate closing procedures: - We understand that everyone wants to share in this happy occasion; however, we request that only buyers and sellers attend Real Estate Closings. If the parties agree, Agents may also attend if the Agents feel comfortable doing so. - We will attempt to bifurcate all closings. The buyers will come into th...e office to sign their paperwork prior to the sellers appearing to sign their paperwork. This temporary change will help avoid crowds in the reception area and our conference room. - Many lenders require blue ink signatures. We will have a new blue pen available to each signing party. You may keep your pen. - We will continue to clean and disinfect our offices before and after each closing and throughout the day. - If you are sick or have been exhibiting any symptoms of illness, please do not attend any closings. We have an immediate opening for a Real Estate Closing Assistant. The Real Estate Closing Assistant will aid attorneys in managing projects, drafting real estate and other transactional documents, and working with sellers, Realtors, lenders, and other individuals involved in Real Estate Transactions. Duties will include preparing initial drafts of purchase contracts, closing documents, and other transactional documents using available models and SoftPro Closing Software.... Requirements include: Real estate, lending, accounting or bookkeeping experience a plus. Detail oriented. Ability to work within Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to balance checks and manage incoming/outgoing funds Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task efficiently and be an independent thinker. Highly organized, able to prioritize workflow and manage projects, excellent time management skills Ability to perform effectively with little or no supervision and within established time limits and on-going deadlines.
