Nola French Creole Foods 06.07.2021

After working on these 3 recipes since the winter, I am happy to announce I have these 3 NEW INSTANT POT MIXES to be released this Saturday, weather permitting. When I first saw the picture of them all in bags, I actually had a tingling feeling all over. I have to do the cost analysis and actually make the mixes for Saturday. These were just for the photos. If you don't do the Farmer's Market, starting June 21, this coming Monday, I will start to take phone orders. I can...'t believe that I have already taken orders by phone and text. I will meet people somewhere safe to make the sale with you. I am not making too many mixes bc you never know what people will like. EVERYTHING IS IN THE BAG BUT THE PROTEIN! EVERYTHING! One of my new IP mixes has 15 ingredients but most have 20-24 ingredients. Now tonight, after I rest awhile, I will start typing up the directions. Wow, they are a challenge bc you are writing them up for someone who has never walked into a kitchen OR likes to live in one like me!! Please come Saturday for samples, I hope to have 2-3 of them. Thank you and God Bless to everyone has been a support to be or like a post etc. Thanks especially to this awesome lady in Rome who gave me $100 on my Go Fund Me page, that I have since canceled. Her money got me going with some spices and supplies to get me started this market season. Also, all of my regular New Orleans mixes now have INSTANT POT DIRECTIONS!!! Oh yeah Dawlin! See more

I am very excited and proud to announce the official release this Saturday of my first 3 Instant Pot Meal Mixes. Weather permitting as usual. I will be releasing at least 1 new Instant Pot mix every week after that if possible. Those I have been working on a long time as well. I will also have vegan mixes, gluten free and some made with quinoa with dessert mixes to come in the future. These recipes have been made so many times to get it the way I wanted it, I am tired of making it! Prepping for these events have worn me out!! Tune in tomorrow afternoon for pictures of my new products in the newly created packaging.

Due to crazy circumstances, you know my life, I will only be selling sweet treats on this Saturday. Tomorrow I will update this post with the sweet products I will be selling. On Saturday, I will also be handing out $1 off coupons off of a bag of my new Instant Pot mixes.

It is that time of the year again for the local Ridge Ferry Farmer's Market!!!! It starts tomorrow June 5 through October 2, from 7-1 every Wednesday and Saturday. This is is the first year in 5 years I will be missing the opening Saturday. My first day will be next Saturday, June 12. So I should be there every Saturday and I am going to try to make Wednesdays also. This of course depends on the weather and how I feel. Mr. Wallace and Donna will be having some awesome veggies tomorrow that include squash, zucchini, cabbage, green onions, purple onions and sweet onions. They will also have red potatoes and cucumbers! We are supposed to have some new vendors this year. Please come out and support this Farmer's Market!!!!

Update: I will not be attending this market as a vendor. Unfortunately, I have been suffering with sciatica, a pinched nerve in neck and stomach issues that brought me to the ER last Thursday. I can't lift a mug in my left hand bc my arm/hand is in so much pain. Please keep this on your calendar of events. There will be many great vendors inside and out. Best of luck to all the great vendors and the awesome people who run this event every year! 2021 Georgia's Rome Spring Art Market is NEXT WEEK! We are so excited for our talented vendors that will be joining us, as well as our delicious food (Doug's Deli Downtown) & snack vendors! Check out our full list of Spring Art Market Vendors with the following link: www.romegeorgia.org/springartmarket .

Here is a picture of my new INSTANT POT dump mix that I tested again and again. Dawlin, you just dump the Instant Pot mix into the pot, add water then add raw chicken breasts or thighs, and press the on button. Yeah I know, so cool! One pot and one spoon, I love that clean up! I will have these new mixes at the Spring Art Market here in Rome the weekend of April 10-11 from 10-4 each day!

I am looking for a place to sell my new Instant Pot mixes, Banana Pecan Bread and my New Orleans food mixes. I am looking for perhaps a place locally to set up (on the side of the or wherever) and/or a busy flea market or perhaps a craft show or festival coming up. If I use your place I am giving away one of my new Instant Pot mixes! The festival or flea markets need within 1-2 hours away at most.

Here is another of my Instant Pot meal mixes. Pancho's Mexican Tortilla Soup. Here is a picture of all the herbs, spices, veggies and beans but I forgot to take a picture of the finished product. You will simply just have to open the bag and dump in the Instant Pot and you just have to add 2 raw boneless chicken breasts or an equal amount in thighs and water and voila, soup is on!!!! It has to be adjusted made and adjusted again, labels designed, cost analysis done and instructions created. Whew! I am going to be busy.
