Mercedes Benz 4000 Overhaul: Came in for hard to start, low power , and blow by. Come to find out she had 3 cylinders with broken rings. We did a complete overhaul using top end OEM parts. Reconditioned all the heads with pressure check, surface, valve job and seals. Reconditioned all the rods for true roundness at journals and bushings machined to .001" tolerance for tight wrist pin fit. Checked and cleaned blocked, new liners, pistons, rings, piston cooler jets and verified correct liner protrusion. Rod and main bearings, and a new turbo due to impeller wheel damage. Need steering and suspension work? No problem, we got you covered. Helped this dump truck out by driving out the seized king pins and remaining bushings. Machined the pin bore in axle to new surface, and sized the new bushings in spindle for a new tight fit.
