Our washer in our main building broke this morning, and as full as we are on both cats and dogs, we are desperately needing another one! If anyone can help with a heavy duty or even commercial grade washer, we would truly appreciate it. As you can imagine with all of our animals, laundry accumulates within minutes and just like at home, it never ends! If you aren’t able to help with a washer itself, we would just be grateful for your share to get the word out! As always, thank you so much for always stepping up when we are in need! We have a great village behind us!

Anyone that has been in our shelter knows how full we stay on cats and kittens from our community. We take in around 1200 cats every year and it seems like it’s never ending. For the first time in a very long time, we can officially say we have NO cats on our shelter! We are so grateful for all the loving homes that have opened their hearts for all of our wonderful animals. We are so glad to have so many lives saved already this year! Let’s keep it up!

We would like to give a huge shout out and thank you to Purina in Hartwell for donating much needed canned cat food, Wicker’s Towing for delivery, and the workers from the City of Lavonia for helping unload! When it comes to animal rescue work, it really does take a village and we are so grateful for ours! Thank you so much!

We would like to give a HUGE shout out and thank you to the Cherokee County Animal Shelter for coming today and taking SIXTEEN dogs that we have had for months with no luck of finding their furever homes! It was so bittersweet seeing so many of our long term babies make their way to the rest of their lives, but we are forever grateful that they made it out safe and sound! When it comes to animals, it really does take a village to make a difference, and we are so lucky to have met such wonderfully kind souls that are willing to lend a helping hand! Thank you so much, guys! You rock!
