In 2019 she became the Dean of the UNG - University of North Georgia's Mike Cottrell College of Business and then joined the NGCF board in 2020. When schools had to close their doors earlier this year, several nonprofits opened their doors even wider. They welcomed in children of first responders, medical front-line workers, and other families who had no childcare options. Not only did they provide a safe and fun place to be - they also kept the students on-track with their school work and learning.
