We are improvising in Bartow county to get the loader set up on a new tract of planted pine! Sometimes all it takes is a little teamwork to get the job done!

Gathering up the last few drags of wood on this Talking Rock clear cut we have been working on!

Unfortunately one of our beautiful thinning jobs has fallen victim to recent high winds and a few of the latest tropical storms. Even these mature sawtimber sized pines couldn’t hold up to the weather that passed through this property. We will likely be returning to this property to help salvage the fallen timber for the landowner. Hate to see this happen but glad to see the majority are still standing!

Here is a loblolly pine seedling that we planted just last March! We clearcut a 30 acre tract in Spalding county and replanted it the following winter with 605 pine seedlings per acre. Over 3 foot of growth in a year and a half.. I’d say these are some healthy trees!
