Gordon County Young Farmer, Annemarie Carr, hosted a county-wide agriculture program visit on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 for local legislators. Representative Ma...tt Barton and Representative Rick Jasperse, along with members of the Calhoun College and Career Academy (CCCA) Board of Directors, Mr. Bud Owens, chair, Mr. Tom Bojo, and Mr. Jim Rosencrance were hosted by the CCCA Director of College and Career Programs, Dr. Brandi Hayes, agriculture teacher, Ms. Lacy Powell, and FFA officers to see "agriculture in action." The tour provided the Representatives and Board of Directors the opportunity to see and learn about the agriculture program, class and pathway offerings, and benefits to students. See more
