It's Friday! How can I serve someone? Consider dropping some books into the Little Free Library at the edge on the church parking lot, and sharing information about the Little Free Library on your own social media pages! This little library can introduce people to the church they often miss as they pass by--and the Truth contained inside the library can introduce them to Jesus!!

Good morning!! We have around 170 cans of green beans at the church. We need 330 MORE cans of green beans by Wednesday, November 4th! These will be given away on 7 November at the Glow Ministries - God Loves Orphans & Widows Thanksgiving giveaway. If you're planning to bring some, please let us know by messaging the church or text Rachael or Q. We'd like to have an idea how close to the goal we'll be.

Thursday's ministry opportunity I want to mention to you is our "Secret Sister" ministry run primarily by the Ladies' Ministry of North Salem. This ministry pairs women in our Ladies' Ministry with widows and widowers in our church, and gives these ladies and their families a chance to minister anonymously to them throughout the year. A third opportunity to serve others in our church and community is through our Benevolence ministry. Do you have a few extra dollars and you feel the Lord is calling you to give but you're not sure who needs the blessing? You can always donate that money in a pink envelope labelled "Benevolence." Or, if you specifically know of a family you wish to help anonymously, see another church member so they can help you with that blessing!

A second opportunity I want to mention to you as a chance for you and your children (or grandchildren) to serve others is through the Thanksgiving Bags our church provides to those in our community and church family who need assistance in providing for a Thanksgiving meal. If you want to help provide a meal, please message Betty S Exley Nease or see her at church on Wednesday night or Sunday morning!

We have 77 cans already! We need 423 cans to reach our 500-can goal! We CAN do it!

In our weekly Wednesday night study, "The Family God Uses," we talked last week about the importance of demonstrating giving and serving to our children. This week we'll focus on some ministry opportunities in which you and your children (or grandchildren) can be a blessing to others. First, Glow Ministries - God Loves Orphans & Widows has requested the help of our church family in providing 500 cans of green beans by Saturday November 7th. Thanks to those of you who have dropped some off Sunday and today. You can leave them under the church portico and I (Mrs. Rachael) will bring them inside. Or, join us for Bible study Wednesday night and drop them in the silver bin yourself! (Any canned brand is fine; please no home-canned green beans.)
