Most of my adult life I have been an advocate for the immeasurable forgiveness of God being available to any and all without exclusion. This mantra is only effective if it is delivered absent of judgement. I’ve never given much consideration to the distance one must reach to get from the place of self-condemnation\guilt\regret, feeling like a failure, (all of the associated anxiety) to the place of peace, rest and rejoicing that comes from accepting the total forgiveness of God. The self-resolve required to recover from self-inflicted suffering requires a spirit unctioned strength in the mist of the illusion of an absent spirit. This makes statements like all you have to do belittling to the task. I stand corrected
