Wreaths Across America at Oak Grove Cemetery information. December 19, 2020. 10:30 am Volunteers will be placing the wreaths on veterans’ graves at Oak Grove C...emetery. NOON Wreaths Across America ceremony will begin at Oak Grove Cemetery. All Wreaths Across America events are free and open to everyone. 2 pm the Military Wreaths will be laid at the Veterans’ Memorial Park. There will be no formal ceremony, a bagpiper will play Amazing Grace and a bugler will play Taps. The public is invited to come by both Oak Grove Cemetery and the Veterans’ Memorial Park during the Christmas Season. Wreaths will remain in place until January 9, 2021. Those attending any of the planned events are encouraged to maintain social distancing, and wear a mask. You should also bring hand sanitizer and insect repellent to the cemetery. Those attending the ceremony at Oak Grove should bring your own chair. No open toe shoes should be worn. Anyone having any questions should call 912 574-9144.
