Dear Client and Friends, In an effort to support national efforts to fight the COVID- 19 pandemic, OMC is taking the following steps to help assure the health and well-being of our community:... We are following directives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a way to limit patient and staff exposure to this virus. Your health, and the health of our dedicated staff, matters to us, so going forward we will suspend all non-emergency care for four weeks. Patients will be seen only for acute and follow-up workers’ comp injuries. We will not be able to perform DOT physicals, pre-employment physicals, spirometries, audiograms or drug screens. We will still operate our After-hours Drug Screen Program and our Physical Therapy department will continue to see patients. The safety and well-being of our patients continues to be our primary concern. We will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 nationally and within our community and keep you up-to-date regarding our plans to reopen for business as usual. We will still be in the office and manning the phones, so please do not hesitate to call us at 706-221-1600 with any questions or special needs. Remember: God hasn’t gone anywhere. HE is still here. HE still loves us. And HE will continue to watch over us and protect us. With the most sincerest of regards, Jack Sherrer, M.D.

We hope the below recommendations for the CDC are helpful. We regret OMC is not equipped to evaluate and test our company employees for Covid-19. We are recommending anyone that has any questions or has any symptoms consistent with Covid-19 to call their personal physician or an ER for evaluation and direction as to what to do. It is NOT recommended you seek treatment with your personal doctor or ER until discussing the case by phone.
