Come visit the cemetery and enjoy the newly paved roads throughout the entire historic section. We are sure you will have a smooth visit!

At 10:00 am on Thursday, November 5, the front gate of Oconee Hill Cemetery will be closed in order to repair the railroad crossing. It will re-open on Friday, November 6, at am. There will be flyers with directions to the back gate for visitors, as well as signage

Good morning Athens!

Paving of select roads in the cemetery will be taking place Monday and Tuesday, October 12 and 13. We apologize for any inconvenience this might create, but we are certain the results will be enjoyed by everyone. If the front entrance off of East Campus Rd. is temporarily closed during the work, the back gate will be open as well. The back gate can be accessed from Carr St.

We are closing OHC tomorrow (Sunday) because of several downed trees and branches. Our crew will do a storm cleanup staring at 8 am on Monday. We will open then.

Section H in Oconee Hill Cemetery. This section has more than 500 lots (8 plots) and is centrally located in the back part of the cemetery across the bridge.

Oconee Hill Cemetery is open 7 days a week from 8-6.
