Order of the Eastern Star- Kingsland Georgia #146

We will be having our regular meeting in February, but we will no have social hour before rhe meeting. Please bring a mask and temps will be checked at the door.

Please pray for our Florida Star Family of Fernadina Chapter. They have lost brother Ed.

Our Worthy Grand Matron has granted us the permission to meet again if we so wish with several restrictions from General Grand Chapter. With that being said it is with a hard choice that I as Worthy Matron with the support of the other members continue to keep the Chapter closed in January. I can not in open our meetings knowing that 98% of our members fit in the category of those who should not attend including myself and my Worthy Patron. We miss seeing everyone, but with t...he potential increase expected to take place in cases in January it is not a good idea. We will re-evaluate at the end of January on if we open in February. Currently Camden has 235 active cases in the last 14 days Overall since Covid started 2,093.

I have an update for the Chapter, from Grand Chapter. Once I get a consensus from the Chapter I will post the results about when we will have a Meeting again.

Well sisters and brothers it looks like Kingsland will not be meeting the rest of the year per Worthy Grand Matron.
