Another great year of Pianothon!

The necessity of this has come more to my attention lately. Excited to plan more ways to promote active listening both in lessons and at home.

Another year of Solo Festival and Local Auditions complete! My students worked so hard and every one of them received the highest rating! But I am most satisfied with the amount of musicality they demonstrated from youngest to oldest - playing with expression rather than merely hitting the correct notes. I’m happy for the glowing compliments they received for being such good students of music.

Enjoyed a VERY nice studio recital this year! So happy everyone performed so well and I had a great time playing a duet with my own teacher.

Super happy that Marie Blackmar received Honorable Mention at the GMTA State Piano Competition for 11th grade!
