The Divine Nine 5K will be held TOMORROW (Sat., June 9) at Welcome All Park. The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. It's not too late to register. Online registration ends today. You can also register onsite at the race and tonight at the packet pick-up at The Crab Spot on Virginia Avenue. Please consider registering and joining our team (EBC One In Him Ministry). We'll meet for our team photo at 8 a.m. Saturday at the registration table near the step and repeat banner. We'll take our photo in front of the banner. There are more than 800 people registered for the race, so please consider carpooling as parking is limited at the park. Please remember the family and friends of former One In Him Ministry leader Denise Williamson today. Williamson's funeral is at 1 p.m. at Elizabeth Baptist Church. Members of Delta Sigma Theta, Williamson's beloved sorority, are asked to wear red. Denise loved not only Delta, but One In Him. So in that same spirit, everyone please wear your respective sorority/fraternity colors.
