Starting the week of with news...Excited to share a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! Operation One STEM at a Time (Operation One STEM at a Time) is now an OFFICIAL PROGRAM PAR...TNER with the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia!! I am so excited to bring innovative STEM activities and programs to ambitious Scouts ALL ACROSS the Peach State!!! Including all 159 counties in Georgia, counties in South Carolina and one county in Alabama! 5 years ago when I started this platform in my dorm at Spelman College, I couldn’t even imagine that one year of activities with kids would grow into an opportunity to educate, enlighten and empower across our state and with one of the biggest youth organizations in the country at that! I thank God for enstilling the vision in me and for helping me see it through! Exposure leads to expansion -Jess Wynn and by exposing these phenomenal young women to STEM, I hope that I will aid in creating the next generation of innovators, inventors , scientists, engineers , etc! Let’s get ready! #onestematatime

Was invited to spend the day with the Engineering Explorer Post Program hosted by Thomas and Hutton Engineering! I had the opportunity to tell the current expl...orers about my time in the program as an Engineering Explorer with Thomas & Hutton (2013 graduate) and how it inspired me to pursue STEM/engineering! Always love seeing the advisor who pushed me to try Engineering/take a leap of faithBarbara Rogers Foley! Fun Fact: I didn’t want to be an engineer at all! Who knew limited space in one program would lead me to a future passion/ career/organization!
