Pack 211, the Oxford Lions Club and our goat friends reminded everyone that balloon releases are baa-aa-aad today!
Veteran's Day hits close to home for this Pack 211 family. Jahkaya, Jileen, and Little Bird's dad currently serves in the US Navy, on assignments where he can't even easily communicate with them. Their family chose our community as a permanent "home base," and we're honored to be part of their support system. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who have served or are now serving! Pack 211 salutes our veterans! We worked with the Oxford Lions Club and Troop 211 today.
This Tuesday: We're moving indoors at Allen Memorial United Methodist Church in Oxford. Wear masks and clothes to paint in. Also on agenda: Parents discuss if we need to meet weekly (particularly for younger scouts), and you can take home ornaments to decorate and/or sell! Bring a hot glue gun if you have one, and any ornament ideas we could make/sell.
