Homecoming Sunday! This is just a reminder that tomorrow is our annual Homecoming Sunday! Unfortunately, the Tabernacle Childrens Home will not be able to be with us tomorrow, but we will still be taking up a special offering for them. After the morning service we will have a meal together. Instead of our typical potluck style meal, we are inviting each family to bring their own picnic lunch for their family to eat on the grounds after the morning service. Or if you woul...d prefer to, you can go get a bite to eat in town and come back. At 1:30, we will have a time of singing and testimonies, praising the Lord for what He has done in our church over the years. We are looking forward to a great day tomorrow! Dear Church Family, Over the past few months, we have all had to adjust to a host of changes because of the coronavirus pandemic. We praise the Lord that, to the best of our knowledge, none of our members, regular attenders, or recent visitors have been diagnosed with COVID-19. But I want to remind you all that we are not out of the woods yet. There have been more positive cases in the state of Georgia per day in the last few days than previously. As we continue to monito...r the situation, here are some important things to remember: -If you are sick, stay home. Even if you think it is nothing serious, please err on the side of caution and avoid the possibility of spreading any sickness to others. -If you become sick and it is possible that it might be COVID-19, please let us know ASAP. It is important that we communicate to the rest of the church that there may be a risk so everyone can take appropriate measures to monitor their health. Please avail yourself of the testing available to determine if you have the virus. -If you have been exposed to someone who may have COVID-19, please wait the appropriate time frame before coming back to services. According to the CDC, the incubation period for this virus can be up to 14 days. -If you are elderly or otherwise vulnerable, please consider taking extra precautions to limit your risk. For some that might mean staying home for now or limiting the number of services or events you attend. DO NOT FEEL OBLIGATED TO ATTEND ANY SERVICES OR EVENTS IF YOU FEEL THAT IT PUTS YOU AT RISK.
