Volunteer Spotlight Pam Corbitt has been passionate for LIFE since becoming a mother. She has creatively used that passion to pray and serve over the years. Pam began volunteering at our center thirteen years ago after her retirement from SEHS. She says that her love for Jesus, other women, and babies are the fuel for her passion in this ministry! She also enjoys the camaraderie amongst the volunteers. In the beginning before the center offered medical services, Pam worke...d in the center with Earn While You Learn. She now serves as one of the drivers and/or client advocates for our mobile unit! She says Probably the most significant thing I do on volunteer day is pray! I pray on the way, while I’m there, when on the way home. God gets an ear full on volunteer days! We are filled with gratitude for Pam and the other volunteers that serve so well!

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT Our Volunteer Spotlight today features Linda App. She has been working with the center for about five years. After retiring from her job at St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital, Linda was askedy by our nurse manager if she would be interested in volunteering. She toured the center and learned more about the ministry and says, I was hooked! Linda feels passionately about the work of the PCC. She loves that she can help pregnant women understand that they are... carrying a life! But more importantly, we get a chance to introduce them to the Lord! she says. Linda’s typical volunteer day includes answering phones and scheduling appointments,sending out reminder texts about upcoming appointments, restocking the boutique, washing and drying donations, copying forms, calling and checking on clients, and documenting calls.
