National Bus Driver Safety Week and National Bus Driver Appreciation We appreciate our bus drivers!

The PCHS FFA Officers created a project called "Ag Point of View" which is a video series where the students seek out knowledge and advice from big supporters and keystone people in the Agriculture Industry via Zoom for an interview. FFA President Macy Hughes reached out to former Georgia Governor, Sonny Perdue, the current U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. He eagerly agreed to share his experiences with these students. News from Byron Elementary School Social distancing with purpose!! Wonderful Professional Learning session at BES with Mr. Keith Lauritsen, Principal; Mrs. Kimberly Crowder, Asst. News from Byron Middle School Our teachers and students ROCK! Mr. Warnock and Mr. Ayers helped three students make planters for our outdoor classroom. This is an AG class that is under the leadership of Mrs. Kendrick. Our construction crew consists of Braden Sanders, Harden Warnock, and Stetson Crane. Thanks to all involved. News from Peach County High School The PCHS Meet the Teacher this week is Deana Carlson!! Ms. Carlson has been teaching for 31 years and currently teaches Teaching as a Profession Pathway. Her favorite restaurant is any Mexican restaurant. She loves Butterfinger bars and caramel and Diet Dr. Pepper or Coke. In her spare time she enjoys fishing, doing crafts and watching Mystery Showroom. Her favorite TV show is The Andy Griffith Show. She has been a sponsor for Future Problem Solvers and hopes to start the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America group next year. Her entire teaching career has been in Peach County!
