Did you know that you can get your permits online now? The city’s online permitting portal is available for all building permits and development plan review types. You can also apply for fire sprinkler permits, sign permits, and tree removal permits. Some permits, like tree-removal permits, can only be applied for online. Payments for permits can be made online, too! Property owners and contractors can apply online at home or at the job site without taking time out of their busy day to drive to City Hall. Go to the City’s website and find the Permitting Portal under the Government Tab. There are step-by-step instructions with pictures to help you know what you will need to include in your application and to guide you through the online process.
