March 25,2020 Update: We're still rocking and rolling building, adding projects to our schedule and doing Design Consultations for new clients. I am personally doing everything I can to keep our Peachtree Decks and Porches family continually employed and paid during the crisis. We are lucky that all of our work is outside and we don't have to work in an office these days!

We rarely build true "sunrooms" with windows that are climate controlled but it is something we can do for clients. This is a sunroom in Cumming, GA that was recently completed.

This time of year is tough to take exterior photos in but here's a couple of shots of a deck recently completed in Sugar Hill using Trex decking and railing and a low maintenance vinyl pergola. Pergolas made of wood are nightmares to maintain long term because of all the nooks and crannies created by the rafters and stringers. They are very hard to paint or stain. We only build low maintenance pergolas to make the cleaning easy. No painting or staining is ever required.

Our newest project in Kennesaw is another project where the roof design was a little different to make the architecture work properly. It is an important part of what we do. If you look in the before photo, you'll see a turret-style roof over the house's dining nook. We removed that roof and reframed a new roof that blends into the porch roof. The easy way would have been to tie in to the turret roof and leave it as is but that would look, eh, like a patchjob. The client has a new stamped concrete patio and we did recessed panel kneewalls all around the screened porch.

This project in West Cobb turned out great. We're going to wait until spring to take better photos but here's a sneak peak. It includes a gable roof with a vestibule design to make a gable roof work on a house it otherwise wouldn't without looking weird. We also did a nice built-in for a Big Green Egg and the entire floor is watertight so when phase two comes with a pool, the underside is ready to finish with trim. Trex Spiced Rum and Signature railing was used on this project.

We recently transformed this boring and dilapidated builder deck into a gorgeous and functional living space for a wonderful client in Canton, GA. This project included a screened in porch with a TV feature wall and Trex decking. The client will be finishing off the patio area and landscaping below soon.

We just got an email out of the blue from a client saying "Thanks". It's always nice to be appreciated!

We are really liking Trex Company's Signature aluminum railing. It is clean and elegant looking and is extremely low maintenance. On this project, we used white post sleeves to bring some of the color from the home's trim into the design. Do you like it?
