Clean around the piercing with a sterilized Saline rinse three times a day. ... 3.Don't use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, Bactine or antibiotic ointments. ... 4.Don't remove the piercing. ... 5.Clean the piercing on both sides and do not rotate 6. By the time that you think that you are healed Give It 2 more weeks and report back to Piecer. Downsizing is a must for a happy healthy piercing 7.DO Avoid Trauma. 8. Keep your hands off! (Oral) Healing typically takes 3 to 4 weeks. During that time, you should: 1. Rinse your tongue or lip piercing after every meal or snack and before bed. 2.Use warm sea salt water or an antibacterial, alcohol-free mouthwash.
