Join the @thepmanfoundation at the Bike in for the Arts event on Sunday, May 30! This event will be held at Oakland cemetery around the Oakland Bell Tower and will run from 10AM-2PM. Ride your bicycle into the cemetery and you’ll have the opportunity to meet with local bike organizations and learn more about the bicycle resources in your community. Today we highlight another grant recipient @acceptance_recovery_center! Located in Athens, Ga (FYI... Patrick went to UGA for a few semesters). This recovery residence organization was/is greatly effected by covid and their budget would not allow for a softball program this year. They applied for a grant to sponsor the Softball league for the 2021 season and were granted funds for equipment, jerseys, and field rental! Having sober social activities to connect to the community is something that has always set Acceptance Recovery Center apart from other recovery residences in the state of Georgia. And we are so glad we could help make that happen this year! Patrick loved his time playing in sober softball leagues in Utah. We hope he is watching these games in spirit

Today we feature one of our grant recipients @docsplacerecovery! Located in Brunswick, GA. This residential recovery center asked for grant funds to cover the purchase of 5 surfboards. These boards are being used by the guys in the recovery program as a social sober activity. It’s a fun and a way to get out and enjoy nature together! We are so excited to see these funds go to work.

Happy Earth Day! We planted a tree in memory of Patrick (back in 2016) and the stone says Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads
